Welcome to Gallery 2. In this gallery you will find pics taken by my own fair hand, of my Byzantine/Russian/Timurid cavalry figures. The figures themselves are a mixture of those superb, Gripping Beast, Russian Druzhina/Seljuk Turks, [ the new Byzantine figures are in the Archive page,] and the equally impressive Essex Miniatures Crusader range, representing armoured cavalry from those armies. [ as you read this I am painting up another lot of lighter, armoured/armed, figures from both ranges, to fill the ranks.] All riding, in my opinion, the best 25/28 wargames horses on the market, from Essex Miniatures.
The first few figures pics, are made up of my Byzantine command Group, [ yes there even is a Foundry Dark age figure, lurking in there as well,] last picture is of, my Russian command group, made up of, Games Workshop, Kislev Lancers, riding Vendel Persian horses.
